aishahradzuan asked: Hi Krishna, I'm currently a high-school student learning Japanese. I've been learning japanese for over a year intensely and I really am in love with the language. I'm really hoping I can reach a certain level of fluency in the language. Do you have any tips that you can give out? Also I was kinda wondering how long did it take for you to be so fluent?

Hey! That’s fantastic that you’re in love with it - that’s always the best first/last/any step! THE BEST tip I can give is to go live in the country.  Find a study abroad program and live with a host family (preferably one who doesn’t speak English).  I studied abroad with a program called AFS.  All the other tips I gave in my recent video would be the best tips I could give out to anyone :)

And I don’t consider myself fluent, but I’ve been studying for 9 years.
